100% of your sponsorship funds go to the student to cover the school fees, meals and books. We do not subtract any administration fees.
Secondary school – minimum donation A$90 per month per child. Currently, until our secondary school is built, most of the funds raised cover their school fees for other schools, (including boarding costs) with other items included being uniforms and shoes, transport costs (mainly to and from school at the start and end of each term) and sundry items (including personal care items).
Casual donations are always welcome, there is no requirement to commit to sponsorship.
Sponsors will receive updates on their child’s progress, at least annually.
Sponsors are welcome to write to their child by email. Any sponsors who wish to visit the schools in Uganda are welcome but visits must be approved and arranged through us. Please contact us using the form on the get involved page.
$60 per month will send a child to primary school.

Our Payments go through HADA. Here’s Why:
In order to keep costs down, and simplify administration for our volunteers, we use Health and Development Aid Abroad (HADA) to maintain our tax deductible status, and to administrer all donations, and audit the funds raised. HADA is a Christian organisation that charges no fees for its services for approved overseas aid projects. They administer a number of projects for other Chrisitan groups, and do an excellent job of making life simple for us, and ensuring you get your tax deductible receipts.
If you do not receive a tax deductible receipt within a reasonable time, please email us here and we will chase it up for you.
